Microsoft has started rolling out the latest update to Windows 11 Build 22000.2121. This update includes minor updates to Windows 11. After many releases and significant improvements, this update brings new features to Windows 11.

  • Let Windows decide the default terminal settings.
  • Address the Narrator Issue: This issue has been recently identified, where the Narrator stops retaining your scan mode when you switch between browsers.

  • Improve Desktop Windows Manager (DWM) reliability.
  • Fix the.msi files: Previously, users faced an error while using the EnterpriseDesktopAppManagement configuration service provider (CSP) to distribute the.msi files.
  • Fix the msftconnecttext.net issue when it gets excessive HTTP traffic.

Apart from this, this update addresses an issue that affects the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User shell folders. It now sets and maintains the correct default permissions for this directory patch. When permissions are wrong, Start Menu, Search, and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) authentication fail. This update also fixes the issue that affects those who enable the “Smart card is required for interactive logon” account option when RC4 is enabled.
