Samsung does offer a lot of customisation with their smartphones, but they do not all have built-in settings. Instead, you need to use Good Lock, which offers extensive customisation modules. In this article, we will focus on customising almost every aspect of the Samsung Keyboard. It allows you to give a personal touch to your keyboard by customising the Samsung Keyboard app and improving typing and accuracy.

Many Android users look for third-party apps for things like customising the keyboard, which requires switching to a different keyboard. Which sometimes have to compromise on features. Samsung’s Keyboard is quite reliable as it offers functionality to sync with Windows Clipboard, Grammarly integration for spelling and grammar checker, GIF, Emoji Kitchen, Buitmoji integration, stickers, and Avatar, but it also has the Galaxy AI for Chat assisting the chat and tone changer.

This is a Good Lock module, which helps users customise their keyboard to further enhance the typing experience. You can either select a keyboard theme from the library or customise your keyboard based on your preference. Option to remap keys or add new keys to the keyboard, but also choose to add key colour effects and motion effects, which is a neat addition in terms of customisation.

With this, you can add effects to your keyboard background and also to the keys. In addition to this, there are keyboard games that you can try, and you can also tweak things like the size of the keys, your favourite emoticons, and much more. It allows users to customise the keyboard by changing colour, adding animation, and creating a custom layout, but it also can create stickers.

Before proceeding, we would like to mention that it only works with the Samsung Keyboard and doesn’t work for others like Gboard, SwiftKey, Bubble Keyboard, or anything else. If you have Android 13-based One Ui 5.0, then you can have a better and more customised typing experience on your Samsung Galaxy device.

Style your keyboard.

One of my favourite features, which I use very often, is the ability to add effects to my keyboard and also create a visually appealing keyboard.

  • You can begin by selecting the keyboard theme, or you can create your own, but for those, you need to install the theme park. From there, you can create your effects.
  • If you don’t want to create a keyboard from scratch but instead want to add effects and sounds to continue with your keyboard.
  • In the effects section, there is one keyboard effect and one key effect. Choose the desired effect that you want to apply. You will see the preview on top, and you can try it yourself with the keyboard button that appears in the upper-right corner.
  • After that, you can choose the motion effect you want to set for your key, and the preview will be updated as well.
  • You can also choose the colour of the effect you want by tapping on the colour wheel in the upper-right corner next to the preview.
  • The next option is sound. Choose the sound you want to use for the keyboard. There are six different sounds to choose from.

So now we have finished customising the keyboard. In addition to the keyboard customisation, there are also stickers, Play keyboard games, and advanced keyboard settings.

Create a sticker.
