The Fan Edition device was launched globally around the first quarter (Q1) of January 2022. The company promises to commit to 4 years of Android and five security updates for the Galaxy S21 FE. The device is still eligible for two more Android OS updates. The device has been well-known and appreciated since its launch, with many people buying the device during various sale offers on Flipkart and Amazon. We expect the device to receive the Android 15 and Android 16 updates in late 2024 and late 2025, respectively.

Well, the update is still being rolled out gradually for other users, but the premium offering flagship Galaxy S-Series device can enjoy the update first. In addition, several devices in its budget A and M-Series line-up will also receive the One UI 6 update.
