We have recently seen Microsoft test the “Try the Preview” toggle on the UWP Mail app on Windows 10 and 11. Now, the new Outlook will replace the UWP Mail and App. Microsoft has started testing its new web-based Outlook for Windows 11, and the company is planning to replace the UWP-based Mail and Calendar. The new Outlook will be the default starting with Windows 11 Build 23506 in development channels. The company removed the UWP-based Mail and Calendar app from Windows 11.

The latest app brings new features and will be more reliable than the old Mail and Calendar app. The current version of Windows 11 does not support all emails; however, it does support some of the most popular ones, like Outlook, Gmail, and Yahoo accounts. Microsoft has shared that the new Outlook will have more email account support in the future.

How to Change Themes on the New Windows 11 Outlook

When you install or update the Outlook app, it comes with a default neutral theme, and this app follows Win3, which follows the principle design of Windows, which means this app will have a modern and native feel. It also has Mica materials to complete the design of Windows 11. As you install the app, you will get Classic Blue, the primary color option for Outlook.
