- Starting with Connecting your device to your Computer.
- Choose, Transfer files via USB and Then Open WatsGo.
- Choose WhatsApp Backup Option,
- and Choose the Device for you want to backup, From the drop-down menu. and Then Click on Backup
- After that, it will ask you to enable Developer Mode. And USB debugging.

How to Enable Developer Mode
- Open Device Settings, and then scroll to “About Phone.”
- Tap on Android Version, and then tap x7 on Build Number to enable Developer Mode.
- After that, go to the main menu and go to Additional Settings.
- Tap on the developer option, and enable USB Debugging and Verify/Install via USB.
- Now take a manual backup on your device.
- Open WhatsApp, and tap on the triple dot menu on top to open the Context Menu.
- Tap on Settings, and then go to Chats.
- Choose Chat Backup, and then click on Backup.
- It takes some time to finish Chat Backup.
- Click on Continue on WatsGo, and then WatsGo will start backing up your WhatsApp data.
- Next, WatsGo will ask you to activate your WhatsApp account on your device.
Re-Activate WhatsApp Account
- Open WhatsApp on mobile, and click on “Agree and Continue.”
- Enter your mobile number, and then click Next.
- Verify your mobile number, and then there will be a backup on your device.
- Click on Restore. It will take some time to finish.
- Tap on Next. Enter your name and click on Next.
- Your WhatsApp will load with the restored backup.
- Click Next, and WatsGo will proceed with backup.
- During these proceedings, WatsGo will open your WhatsApp a few times.
- Keep patient during this process.
- That’s it. Your backup will be saved on your PC locally. You can view the backup and restore it on any device by clicking on Restore to Device.

Restore WhatsApp Backup to your device.
- Your device should be connected and have enabled USB Debugging and Verify/Install App over USB from Developer Mode.
- Open WatsGo, and click on WhatsApp Restore.
- Then choose your backup file, and then click on the Restore button.
- Choose the device, and then click on the Restore button.
- Click on Continue on the Warning-Pop-up. Since we have already taken the backup, click on Continue.
- And WatsGo will start restoring WhatsApp data.
- If it asks you to re-login, do it on your device, and that’s it!
How to Transfer WhatsApp Data from an Android/iPhone to an Android/iPhone without Loss
For this, we are using Android to Android. The steps are identical to those of an iOS device.
- Connect your device to a computer with a USB file for transfer.
- Next, enable Developer Mode and then, from the Development Option, enable USB Debugging and install/verify via USB.
- Open WatsGo, and choose WhatsApp Transfer.
- Choose your device. First, choose the source of WhatsApp data that you want to transfer. Second, decide where your data will be saved on the device.
- Click on Transfer, and Click on Continue to Verify your action.
- Next, it will ask you to have a backup, which we have already done.
- Now it will start transferring WhatsApp data. Keep patience while it proceeds.
