It was recently announced that Vivo will launch the Vivo X90 series of smartphones in China. There will be three new products launched by its sub-brand on Dec. 2: the Neo 7 SE, iQOO 11, and 11 Pro. It has been reported that Vivo will also launch the S16 series in the domestic market.

In terms of chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 low-frequency version will compete with the Vivo S16 Pro. There is currently only one phone with the SD8+G1 chip, the Reno 9 Pro+, which was launched in China recently. Other specifications of the S16 series were not revealed by the tipster.

Vivo’s V2244A and V2245A smartphones were approved by the 3C certification platform last week. Although there is no solid evidence, it appears that these could be the upcoming Vivo S16 and S16 Pro phones. According to the 3C certification, the devices may support fast charging up to 80W.

Vivo S16 Pro is expected to come in three colors: orange gold, black, and green. Previous reports claim that the smartphone will also feature the Vivo V1 Plus ISP.

The Vivo S16 will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which also powers the Vivo S15. In addition to black, blue, and purple, it is likely to come in a variety of colors. Also expected to be included in the lineup is the Vivo S16e, which may be equipped with an Exynos 1080 processor.
