The IQOO 11 5G has had its launch date announced for January 10th, and its landing page is already live on Amazon. The device has already been launched in China, and we have a good understanding of its specifications.
The IQOO 11 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is top-of-the-line. It features an AMOLED 2K 144Hz HZ E6 display and a 50MP primary GNS OIS sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 8MP macro lens for the camera.
To power the device, it comes with a 120W fast charging solution that can charge the device to 50% in just 8 minutes, which is included in the box. As this is a premium device in China, it is expected to be priced around ~45,000 INR.
Redmi Note 12 Series
It has been confirmed that the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be launching on January 5th. The Redmi Note 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 Soc, which was also used in the Realme 10 Pro Plus.
These devices will feature AMOLED displays and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will come with a 200 MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor, while the Redmi Note 12 will have a 48MP camera sensor. As the devices have already been launched in China, their expected pricing in India is ~14,000 INR, ~19,000 INR and ~25,000 INR respectively
Tecno Phantom X2
This upcoming device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series and will feature a unibody double-curved screen design with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will have an AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and the rear will have Panda Glass protection. The mid-frame of the device is made of aluminum.
The device will have a 64Mp triple-camera sensor and will be equipped with a 5160mAh battery with 45W fast charging solutions. The device is scheduled to launch on January 2nd.
Moto
Although this brand has not yet confirmed its smartphone, rumors suggest that there could be two different smartphones: the Moto G53 and the Moto X40. The Moto G53 is expected to be available for under 10,700 INR and will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ Soc and will have a 50MP + 2MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. The device will run on Android 13 and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging solution. It will have a thickness of 8.1mm and a weight of 183 grams.
The Moto X40, which has already been launched in China, is expected to debut in January and will likely be launched as the Moto Edge 40 Pro. It will have a curved edge 165Hz AMOLED panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Soc, and a 125W fast charger. It will have a 50Mp primary and ultra-wide angle lens, accompanied by a 12MP telephoto lens and a 60MP camera sensor. It is expected to be priced at around 40,000 INR.
POCO X5 5G Series
The POCO X5 5G series has been pending launch in India and is expected to be released next month. It is likely that both the POCO X5 and POCO X5 Pro will be released, with the Pro model possibly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 700G series. You can expect an AMOLED display and fast-charging capabilities on these devices.
Realme GT Neo 5
Although this device has not been confirmed, reports suggest that it will have a 6.7-inch 2772×1240 pixel resolution with a 1.5K OLED panel and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and will have a 50MP IMX890 OIS camera. It will run on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
It is also expected to have an in-display fingerprint scanner and will come with a 5000mAh battery with a 240W fast charging solution. There is also rumored to be a special edition available with the same fast charging capabilities, but there is no confirmation on pricing as of yet.
