Tecno, the Chinese manufacturer of smartphones, has announced the Tecno Pova 2 in the Philippines. In the Philippines, the Tecno Pova 2 will be priced at PHP7,990 (US$167) and comes in a single 6GB+128GB memory configuration.

On the front, the Tecno Pova 2 sports a 6.9” IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz screen refresh rate. Additionally, it hides a selfie camera with an 8-megapixel resolution in a central hole-punch cutout.
It features a rectangular camera island around the back of the phone that houses a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, 2 megapixels depth sensor, as well as another 2 megapixels sensor for AI photography.
The Tecno Pova 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
This phone runs on a battery that has a capacity of 7,000mAh and delivers 18W fast charging. In addition to that, it installs HiOS 7.6 on Android 11 out of the box and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
