There are a lot of key specifications that have already surfaced online, either through CAD renders for design, certifications, or reports. The upcoming Galaxy S24 Series is said to be launched early next year, on January 18th. We will hear more about the same in the coming weeks.
We previously reported that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will exclusively have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, along with 8/12GB of RAM, and the other Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will have both Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 regionally. Not to mention, the device will run on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box.
Galaxy S24 Display Specification
The device will not have the highest peak brightness. All three Galaxy S24 Series devices will feature an LTPO M13 display with 2500 units of peak brightness. However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have an LTPO panel equipped with low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology to reach higher brightness.

Furthermore, there should be differentiation in terms of the Vanilla Galaxy S24’s display resolution and, obviously, the size of the three devices. In addition to this, the Non-Ultra Model will have 2500 nits of peak brightness, meaning higher brightness and better HDR compatibility.
Galaxy S24 Camera
Reportedly, the device will have an upgraded 200-megapixel quad-rear camera with 100x zoom capability. On the other hand, Samsung may downgrade the 10x optical zoom to 5x. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is led by Samsung’s 200MP ISOCELL HP2SX primary sensor, which has a size of 1/1.3″. It also features a 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP sensor with 5x optical support.

Galaxy S24 processor
The Vulkan test on Geekbench revealed the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is expected to be significantly faster. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is said to feature an Adreno 750 GPU, which is a substantial upgrade over its predecessor. It also maintains a higher margin and has a larger vapour chamber, contributing to a higher score.
Galaxy S24 Series Battery
Samsung is looking forward to partnering with three battery suppliers, including Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, ELENTEC India, and Navitasys India. Samsung does have its battery supplier, which is Samsung SDI Vietnam.
According to reports, the Korean Certifying Agency Safety Korea revealed the batteries for the Galaxy S24 Ultra Series Battery Model Code EB-BS928ABY. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus reveal battery models EB-BS922ABY and EB-BS926ABY, respectively.
It is also unclear if Samsung India will provide batteries for the Galaxy S24 Series, which are assembled at India’s factories. Samsung India is one of the largest operational mobile phone factories in the world and a supplier in other countries.

Phantom Black and Graphite give two pretty standard options for the Galaxy S24 Series.
