Samsung has unveiled its latest technological marvel, the Samsung Kiosk, powered by the Windows operating system and launched exclusively in South Korea. This state-of-the-art device has been specifically designed to provide Samsung customers with an intelligent ordering solution, offering a multitude of features and functionalities comparable to those found at official Samsung Stores.

The Samsung Kiosk encompasses a comprehensive array of capabilities, including product selection, ordering convenience, and secure payment processing. To maximize accessibility, Samsung plans to deploy these Windows OS-powered kiosks across a wide range of establishments throughout South Korea, including restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, convenience stores, and marts. Notably, the Samsung Kiosk, known as the KMC-W model, was prominently featured at the esteemed ISE 2023 event, boasting an interactive 24-inch touchscreen display that captivated audiences.

Samsung launches Windows-powered Kiosk in South Korea

To ensure optimal performance and stability, the Samsung Kiosk operates on the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Edition and harnesses the power of the 11th Gen Intel Core Processor. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, this cutting-edge device offers impressive specifications. Customers can also select from various CPU configurations, such as the Intel Celeron 6305E, Core i3, or Core i5 processors, tailoring the device to their specific needs and preferences.

Samsung’s Windows OS-powered Samsung Kiosk is available in three versatile models: Table Type, Standing Type, and Wall-Mounted Type, catering to diverse environmental settings. This innovative kiosk was honored with the coveted “Best Product” title at the renowned ISE (Integrated System Europe) 2023, Europe’s largest display exhibition held in January in Barcelona, Spain. The Samsung Kiosk has already been supplied to over 60 partners across 35 countries, and its global presence continues to expand steadily.

With an ambitious vision in mind, Samsung plans to provide 1,000 units of the Samsung Kiosk to Yanolja Cloud, a leading global travel solution technology provider that caters to the hospitality, leisure, and food and beverage industries worldwide. Yanolja Cloud will proudly introduce the new Samsung Kiosk at the highly anticipated ‘2023 Korea Hotel Show,’ the largest hotel exhibition in Korea, scheduled to take place from the 14th to the 16th of June at COEX in Seoul.
