Samsung announced the Galaxy M21 smartphone in March 2020. The Google Play Console recently spotted a handset named Galaxy M21 2021 Edition. However, the listing did not specify any differences between the model of last year and this year’s. According to 91mobiles, the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition is based on leaked information shared by tipster Ishan Agarwal.

According to the new leak, the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition will be identical to the original Galaxy M21. The newer model will ship with One UI 3.1 Core based on Android 11. It is unlikely that the new phone will have any other upgraded features aside from this change.

Galaxy M21 2021 Edition will feature a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display with HD+ resolution. This phone may be powered by an Exynos 9611 chip with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage.

A 5,000mAh battery may be found inside the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition, which supports fast charging up to 15W. In terms of photography, its rear-facing triple camera unit may feature a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Possibly, the device will have a front camera of 20 megapixels for selfies and video calls.

The report does not mention the price or availability of the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition. At launch, the predecessor model was priced at Rs 12,999 (*$174). The new model may also be priced similarly.
