Samsung is likely to launch updated Galaxy A-series phones soon. In the coming weeks, Samsung will launch its Galaxy A14 series. As of the latest update, the Galaxy A14 series is set to be released within the next few weeks. It has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website that Samsung is developing a Galaxy A4 5G device. The device is one of two expected to launch in the A14 series.
Soon, the phone will be available in India and other markets. Here’s everything we know about the Galaxy A14 5G before Samsung announces launch details.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
It will be Samsung’s first budget 5G smartphone. In advance of its debut, it is listed on the BIS website. The model number for the device is SM-A146B/DS. There is no information about the Galaxy A14 5G in the BIS database. However, the listing does indicate that the Galaxy 5G phone will be released shortly.
The Wi-Fi Alliance’s website recently featured the device as well. According to the report, the Galaxy A14 5G will support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. As well as this, Android 13 will be pre-installed on the phone. On top of Android, there will be a layer of One UI 5.0.
In a separate report, design renders of the Galaxy A14 were revealed. According to the renders, Samsung’s 5G phone will have a flat frame design and a triple camera setup on the back. There is no camera module per se, but three circular rings cut out for the camera sensors. In addition to the sensors, there is an LED flash.
There is a water-drop notch on the front, which Samsung will call an Infinity-U display. Except for the China, the display is surrounded by relatively thin bezels. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the side of the device. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port on the budget smartphone. At the bottom, there is also a speaker grille.
