How to Restore Windows 10 File Explorer to Windows 11 using Regedit

  • Open Regedit by opening Windows Run (Shortcut key: Windows + R) then type Regedit.
  • After opening the Regedit and then click yes for UAC (User Account Control).
  • Follow the following navigation HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
  • Right-click to create the new DWORD 32-bit value on the right-panel
  • Now rename the Value as Start_ShowClassicMode or SeparateProcess and then set the value to 1.
