Introducing the Nokia XR21, the latest rugged smartphone from the Finnish company that promises to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. As the successor to the XR20, the XR21 has just made its debut in the UK market, boasting upgraded features that have been highly anticipated by tech enthusiasts.

The Nokia XR21 is a tough and rugged smartphone that has made its debut in the UK market as the successor to the XR20. It features a 6.49-inch FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 550 nits, making it easy to view in harsh outdoor conditions. The device also has wet hands and gloves compatibility, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Under the hood, the Nokia XR21 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 8nm Mobile Platform, with Adreno 619L GPU, coupled with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.
In terms of optics, the Nokia XR21 features a 64MP primary rear camera with an ƒ/1.79 aperture and LED flash, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and OZO Audio. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
Other notable features of the Nokia XR21 include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, two quick access buttons, and extra loud stereo speakers with OZO Playback technology. The device is also MIL-STD 810H certified, and has an IP68/IP69K rating, which makes it water, dust, and drop-proof. It is powered by a 4800mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging.
Connectivity options on the Nokia XR21 include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 2×2 MiMo, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/QZSS/NavIC, and USB Type-C.
Price of Nokia XR21
The Nokia XR21 is available in Midnight Black and Pine Green colors, with a price tag of £499.99 ($625) for the sole 6GB + 128GB variant. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the UK starting next month.
