However, it is all restricted to the previous extension. Luckily, Meta thought about it and introduced a new WhatsApp extension, “Code Verify.”

Code Verify is nothing but a WhatsApp extension that works in partnership with Cloudflare (a web infrastructure security company) to provide independent third-party transparent verification of code. Meanwhile, Code Verify has Subresource integrity and lets web browsers verify that the resources they fetch haven’t been manipulated.

Certainly, Code Verify tally the WhatsApp Web code you’re served with a source of truth verified by WhatsApp and published on Cloudflare to ensure the version of WhatsApp Web you’re using is authorized. Cloudflare Interference with Code Verify has a major role in protecting users’ private chats. 

Furthermore, WhatsApp’s new extension “Code Verify” has some indications that show real-time protection status. Let’s say the Code Verify icon appears orange in color, which means the page needs to refresh. Similarly, it shows a red icon if they found any security issue with your WhatsApp web code. So, every user gets a liberal WhatsApp experience.
