There are plans for Motorola to launch the Moto X40 flagship phone in China within the next few months. In the global market, Motorola Edge 40 Pro will be sold under a new name. CAD renders of the X40 / Edge 40 Pro have been shared by MySmartPrice in collaboration with OnLeaks ahead of the expected launch.
According to Motorola’s CAD renders, the Edge 40 Pro has a curved edge and a central punch hole. Three elements adorn the back panel, including a square-shaped camera module, a logo, and branding.

There are three cameras and an LED flash on the camera module. A power button and a volume rocker are located on the right side of the device. There is a USB-C port, a pair of speaker grilles, and a microphone on the bottom edge of the phone.
According to the report, the Edge 40 Pro will measure 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.6mm. The camera bump measures 10.8mm thick. According to the leak, the device will feature a 6.7-inch display, but does not specify its other specs.
TENAA recently published the full specifications for a Motorola phone with model number XT2301-5. Its global variant was recently approved by TDRA under the Motorola Edge 40 Pro moniker with model number XT2301-4. There is a Moto X40 phone teaser in China from Motorola. Moto X40 may be the name under which the TENAA-certified XT2301-5 debuts in the home market.
According to rumors, the device will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ 165Hz AMOLED display, a 60-megapixel front camera, and a triple camera system with 50-megapixels (main), 50-megapixels (ultra-wide), and 12-megapixels (telephoto). There may be as much as 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage available on this device. An internal battery capacity of 5,000mAh may be supported by 68W fast charging.
