How to Install the 64-Bit Raspberry Pi OS

  • Download the Raspberry Pi OS, and then write it on your SD card.
  • Launch Etcher, and then under Select Image, point Etcher to the Raspbian IMG Zip file and then under
  • Select Drive, where you saved your file.
  • Next, click on Flash, and it will begin installing Raspberry Pi OS.
  • Next, ensure all the required things are plugged in and then enter the SD Card. It will automatically boot up.
  • That’s it!

Know issue

Currently, 64-Bit doesn’t have WidevineCDM and it won’t be able to play streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+.
