Installing Kodi on an Amazon Fire Stick can be a bit challenging if you’re not familiar with the process. However, there are several steps you can take to make it easier.

Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Kodi is not available on the Amazon Appstore, so the first step is to enable the installation of apps from unknown sources. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On your Fire Stick’s home screen, go to “Settings.”
  2. Select “My Fire TV” or “Devices,” and then select “Developer options.”
  3. Turn on “Apps from Unknown Sources.” You’ll see a warning message, but it’s a standard message to protect users from installing malicious software. Click “Turn On” to confirm your selection.

Download and Install the Downloader App

You need the Downloader app to download Kodi from a third-party source. Here’s how to get it:

  1. On your Fire Stick’s home screen, select the magnifying glass icon to search for the “Downloader” app in the Amazon Appstore.
  2. Install the app and wait for it to download.

Download Kodi

After installing the Downloader app, you can now download Kodi. Follow these instructions:

  1. Open the Downloader app and enter this URL into the URL bar: https://kodi.tv/download
  2. Click “Go” and wait for the page to load.
  3. Scroll down to “Choose your weapon” and select “Android.”
  4. Choose the “ARMV7A (32BIT)” option.
  5. Click the “Release” tab and select the latest version of Kodi.
  6. Click “Download” and wait for the download to complete.

Install Kodi

Once you’ve downloaded Kodi, it’s time to install it. Follow these instructions:

  1. After the download is complete, click “Install” to start the installation process.
  2. Wait for a few minutes for the installation to complete.
  3. Once the installation is complete, you’ll see a message that says “App installed.” Click “Done” to exit the installation process.

Launch Kodi

Now that you’ve installed Kodi on your Fire Stick, you can launch it and start using it. Here’s how:

  1. Return to your Fire Stick’s home screen and select “Apps.”
  2. Scroll down to Kodi and select it.
  3. Wait for Kodi to launch.

Congratulations! You’ve now installed Kodi on your Amazon Fire Stick.

Additional Tips:

  1. If you encounter any issues while installing Kodi, restart your Fire Stick and try again.
  2. Clear the cache and data of the Downloader app if you’re experiencing any issues.
  3. Only download Kodi from reliable sources, such as the official Kodi website, to avoid security issues.
