Microsoft Loop for Organization

Microsoft Loop for Organization is integrated with Microsoft 365 apps, which means it will boost productivity for your team and allow them to work simultaneously. They can create and share Loop components across Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Word for the Web, Whiteboard, and the Loop app. When you share the Loop component, it will be up-to-date and can be edited on those apps synced across the ecosystem, making it easier for you and your team to work collectively and together.

How to enable Microsoft Loop across Organization

To enable Microsoft Loop across your organization, you need to create a security group that has all the users in your organization who want access to the Loop. It could take an hour for settings and Loop to be successfully created. Remember that your Firewall rules should allow the appropriate service. There are two different ways to create a Security Group: a Dynamic Security group or Create a Static security app where the first can be added with users’ accounts, and the latter is added manually by you, respectively. Dynamic Security Group

A Dynamic Security Group is a configuration of a security group for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), which you can access from the Azure Portal. IT admins can use it to set rules to populate groups to create based on users’ attributes, such as user type, country/region, or member, which can be automatically added or removed from the security group based on their attributes. Requirements

You require to have Azure AD Premium P1 or P2 Licensing to create and use Dynamic Groups, Learn about it here.

Create an all-users dynamic group

Sign in to Azure Portal, From there select the Azure Active Directory.
Head over to Group under manage and then select New Group.
On that page, you have New Group under Group Type and go to Security.
Enter the Group name and the Group description for the New Group and under Membership, type select Dynamic Users.
Select Add dynamic query and above the Rule Syntax box, Click on Edit.
Next, ON that page, Edit Rules Syntax type your expression user.objectId -ne nulluser.objectId -ne null and then Select Ok to save Next click on Create to begin creating a New Group page.

If you want to exclude some users, maybe they don’t want to have Microsoft Loop be used at this moment then those users can be removed. You can create a dynamic group by entering this expression (user.objectId -ne null) and (user.userType -eq “Member”). on the other hand, there is a Statics Group which you can learn here.

How to add Security Group and add Members to the security group

Open Microsoft 365 admin and head over to Groups From there go to the Group page.
After that, Click on Add group on the Group page and from there choose a group type.
Choose Security and then Security group[ name on the group page.
Go to the member’s tab and then select View all and manage Members.
On that page, Select Add member and choose the person you want to add to the list.
If you want to remove any person simply click on X on their name.

How to create a Cloud Policy

Open Config.Office.com with your admin account, From there head over to Customization and then go to Policy.
After that, Go to Create to create a new policy and then name it based on your preferences.
In the Assignment Choose if the policy applies to your installed Microsoft 365 apps for enterprise or just for users. Give the security group the to scrap your policy.
Now, Configure the Loop app policy by clicking on the Create and View Loop Files in the Loop.
