What is WhatsApp Video Message, and how do I use it?

As of today, WhatsApp has updated itself with an exciting feature that can change its use. Users can now send Video Messages that are end-to-end encrypted. However, this is not the first time WhatsApp has made unique additions to the messaging app. Meta (the parent company) encouraged it to do so. Continuing with its zeal to empower users, WhatsApp has again come out with a new video message update. Previously, WhatsApp had the feature of sharing instant voice messages. In the same way, yesterday, WhatsApp started rolling out the video message feature to everyone. With this feature, users can instantly record memorable moments with a video cap of 60 seconds, and the best thing is that such a video message is end-to-end encrypted.

The basic aim behind this feature is to provide users with a way to instantly share birthday wishes, jokes, or special moments with anyone. Even though the announcement was made publicly, people have the misconception that they have yet to receive this feature. For them, I notified you all that WhatsApp started rolling out this feature, and in the coming weeks, it will be available to everyone. Note: Before that, note that the Video Message feature is presently limited to Android and iOS beta testers. But this update will soon come to every user, so don’t forget to Update the WhatsApp App from your respective app store.

1. Open the WhatsApp App.
2. Then Get into the Chat section and choose whom you want to share a video message with.
3. Now look at the mic icon next to the text field and switch to video mode.
4. Next, record the video; here, you can make it handheld, just as you do for a voice message.
5. After that, tap on the Send button to proceed.
6. That’s all. In this way, you can share video messages over WhatsApp.
