Honor launched its Pad 8 with some incredible specs-sheet; it features a 12-inch 2K Display panel and an immersive sound experience with a total of eight speakers. We have much talk about this device; let’s check all the cool features you should check.
As we have mentioned, this is a 12-inch tablet with 2k resolutions (2000 x 1200p) and about 195 Pixel density. Talking about how bright it goes, it’s a 350nits, Which isn’t among the brightness tablet but get the job done. You will appreciate the color and its representation while watching the content.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Soc paired with a 4/128GB or 6/128GB configuration. The device runs Android 12-based MagicUI 6.1 out of the box, which brings excellent gesture support. Multitasking on the device feels smoother thanks to a well-optimized UI.
There is no wireless charging, and to power the device, it is equipped with a 7250mAh battery with USB Type-C. Talking about sound, there are two up and bottom-firing speakers containing a dual-speaker each.
In terms of the camera, The device has 5MP primary camera sensor. There is no fingerprint scanner for authentications. Instead, it has Face unlock using the front-facing camera, a 5MP Selfie shooter. Not to mention, it does also have a PIN or Passcode for additional security.
The camera doesn’t feel great, but it looks to be focused for conference calls or else but not for pleasing images. We don’t recommend you buy this tablet except for your primary goal with this device is content consumption.
