Microsoft finally released one of its most awaited products into Microsoft Bing and Microsoft Edge. Recently, Microsoft announced the new Bing and Edge with AI-powered capabilities, now available on both iOS and Android mobile devices. The company also released minor improvements to Skype, meaning you can now use Bing with the latest version of the new Bing with Skype on mobile devices.
This is still in preview, but it brings new functionality like voice and text-based conversations with the latest integration on Bing, Edge, and Skype. There is a new Bing icon placed at the bottom of the screen which allows users to get quick access to the Chatbot, and Microsoft is primarily focusing on making it voice-first as it was one of the most requested features on the Microsoft Community.
If you want to try this new browser, you can head over to your device’s respective app store to check for the app on iOS and Android. As you might be familiar with the search, simply head over to the chatbot, but it is still noteworthy that your account should have access to the New Bing.
If you don’t have access to New Bing, then you can sign up to get registered for the New Bing waitlist. Once you receive the email confirming that you have access to the new Bing, you can start using it on your device. On the other hand, if you want to use it on Skype, you need to first @mention the Bing Chatbot and ask questions.
Bing will reply, which is quite similar to the Google Allo, which shut down but is now much better than the Google integration. Microsoft is continuing to expand its new AI capabilities, even now on mobile devices, dominating the AI race. This is especially important as 64% of searches occur on mobile devices.
Company has announced the new Bing earlier this year, where it was first rolled out to the Microsoft Edge beta on desktop and now on mobile devices.
