Apple is making for a wider-userbase Since iPhone comes with a leverage functionality and uses this Passkeys based upon cryptography. If the platform does not support Face ID or Touch ID, it will generate a QR case which is then read by your device to confirm the device.

On top of this, Passkeys can be shared via AirDrop. You can also continue verification on other platforms like Windows. When you try to log in, Your platform will generate you a QR Code to scan on your iPhone for authentications.
