Google releases the second beta update for the Android 13 ahead of the Google Pixel Feature drop. QPR Beta 1 release in Sep 2022. As for Beta 2, We don’t have any changelog, but this update brings stability to OS.

Android QPR (Quarterly Platform Release) Beta 2 (T1B2.220916.004) bringing Bug fixes and Software optimization. This update supposes to have all Pixel Features that we may see on Pixel. This update is suitable for Public testing, and this is relatively stable compared to Developer Preview.

This update is only supportable on Beta Users, and It supports Pixel 4a, Pixel 4A 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, and Pixel 6 smartphones. Enrolled users can download and install the update through OTA Update; here is the quick Guide.

  • Open Device Settings, Head over to System.
  • Choose System Update, and there you will find the download icon.
  • Simply, Download and Install it on your device.
  • Restart your device; that’s it!

An update is gradually rolling out, and It may take up to 24hrs to receive the OTA update on your device. Beta users can submit their experience on the Android Beta Feedback forum. As for manual users, they can download through these System images. In case you want to return to public build, You can flash the factory image.
