Xiaomi’s Redmi 11A has been spotted on BIS’s certification website as the company prepares to release an affordable smartphone in India. This new reveal gives a strong hint for Redmi 11A’s India launch, as it was previously spotted on TENAA. As a successor to Redmi 10A, the phone will enter the Indian market.  In China, Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 12 lineup at the same time as the arrival of the Redmi 11A. Globally, it is widely believed that the Note 12 series will be launched soon.

The model number 22120RN86I of the upcoming Redmi 11A has been revealed on the BIS listing. Redmi 11A’s website doesn’t provide much information, but the model number resembles the TENAA leak. The TENAA leaks also suggest that the alleged Redmi 11A could come in a variety of configurations.

According to leaks, the upcoming Redmi 11A will feature a 6.7-inch screen with an IPS LCD panel offering HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. A 5MP front camera is said to be housed in a waterdrop notch screen.

In Redmi 11A, a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary depth sensor could be combined into a dual rear camera system. There is also a fingerprint scanner in the rectangular camera array at the rear.
