The OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone has been officially launched in the global market for the second time. It is one of the most exciting phones in the midrange segment thanks to its innovative design language and upgraded specs.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G features a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution, 410 PPI, and a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 20:9 aspect ratio. Likewise, the front display includes a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner which houses a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

It also sports a rectangular camera island with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera (with OIS stabilization), 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, and a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.

According to the company, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI mobile platform – a custom chip developed by OnePlus and MediaTek to enhance the AI capabilities of the phone in the camera, display, as well as gaming. In terms of memory, up to 12GB of RAM will be available along with 256GB of onboard storage.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G is powered by a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W Warp Charge. OnePlus claims that its 65W Warp Charge technology is capable of charging the device from 0 to 100% in only 30 minutes. It runs OxygenOS 11.3 (ColorOS codebase) which includes a two-year major OS update and three basic security patches.

Price of OnePlus Nord 2 5G

Prices for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G start at €399 (US$470) in Europe and INR27,999 (US$376) in India, respectively, when it comes to the 6GB+128GB variant. You can choose between Blue Haze, Gray Sierra, and Green-Wood colors on the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. Note that the Green-Wood variant actually comes with a vegan leatherback, and is only available in India.
