- After this, it will share with you a fixed backup that you can import to resolve this issue.
Future updates of the Nova Launcher will likely resolve the Search-Bar crashing issue on your MIUI. Until then, this is the workaround as the developer is working on fixing this issue.

- Open Nova Launcher and then tap on the Menu button that appears on the upper-right corner of the screen.
- After that, tap on “Settings.” From there, tap on “Backup & Import,” and then tap on “Backup.”
- Give your backup a name and then tap on “Save.”
After creating the backup, all you have to do is upload the backup on this website (https://apex.moe/search-bar/). From there, you will have a fixed package that you can use until the patch comes with the future update. So now, how can you restore the backup? Here are the following instructions mentioned down below.
- Open Nova Launcher on your device, and then tap on the Menu button that appears on the upper-right corner of the app.
- Next, tap on “Settings,” and then tap on “Backup and Import.”
- From there, all you have to do is tap on “Restore,” and then browse the fixed backup file.
- Choose the restore file and then tap on “Restore.”
