Stardock has released Groupy 2, a desktop enhancement tool that gives Windows a universal tab experience. This allows users to group multiple windows into a tabbed interface like a web browser. It is currently in public beta testing and will be free for everyone in the coming months on Windows 10 and Windows 11. This update introduces a new feature called Grouping and allows users to customize the appearance and behavior of their tabs, such as color, shape, and position, to match the Windows theme and preference.
This update brings tab preview, tab group, and tab management options to organize groups of related programs and files together. It will help users save time, as they can simply switch between groups of programs and reduce the number of windows open at once. You can save groups of applications to the taskbar for quick access.

The app works well and also matches the Windows 11 aesthetics and works fine alongside native tabbed apps like File Explorer and Notepad.
