You can access the YouTube Music app from either Android, iOS, or the web. Although it is a premium service, you can still use this app except for the premium plan’s dominant features. Before that announcement, the only way to watch podcasts was on the YouTube app. But since “Hazel” (a YouTube Music team member) added a support page for podcasts on YouTube Music, everyone is so glad they can listen from the music app.

The most impressive part about this addition is that it is free to use, with no premium subscription required. You can also switch between audio and video while playing a podcast. It will also be on-demand content, so you can stream it offline. Alongside, you’ll get all the features you’d get on YouTube Music. Because podcasts are available on various platforms, there is nothing new about using them.

All you need to do is open the YouTube Music app and tap on the Podcast tab appearing at the bottom of the screen. This will allow you to enter a separate space and enjoy the plethora of podcasts available. As a result of this addition, Google has added a support page to advertise the new achievement. A new public stats-sharing feature has been added on top of this. But formally, this feature has not yet been confirmed by developers.

This feature silently arrived on YouTube Music, where users can publicly show off their music stats. The public statistics show what types of songs you listen to and which artists you prefer. However, displaying a public playlist on your profile is already added to the YouTube Music app. But to enrich it with more functionality and flexibility, the developers secretly added a few options.

From now on, when users display playlists publicly, there are a few advanced features like “Show Songs on Repeat,” “Show Artists on Repeat,” “Show Music Videos on Repeat,” and “Show playlists on Repeat.” You should note that these settings will work when you publicise your visibility. Meanwhile, developers are trying to add a social line to their apps. To enable public stats, open YouTube Music >> Settings >> Privacy & Locations >> Channel Settings >> Enable Public Stats >> Toggle on any advanced option based on your preferences.

To conclude, Google has made it easier to watch podcasts with a touch of YouTube Music. It has many enriched features, such as watching it for free, switching between audio and video, etc. However, this feature is officially addressed by Google Support, but officials have not explained publicly sharing stats.
