Guest mode does not appear to have seen any significant improvements in a long time, and Google intends to change that with the upcoming version of Android 14.Therefore, Android 14 doesn’t have a major visual revamp, but an improved guest mode could bring more useful features and changes.

If you have been using the guest mode to add multiple users to your Android device, there aren’t a lot of things to manage or control. With the new update, there will be a new Guest Mode page that specifically gives users more controls to manage users and specify preferences for each.

When you hand over your device with Guest Mode enabled, you may have some privacy concerns about sharing photos, call logs, or other data. This issue is now said to be resolved with a feature that gives users more control over the ability to disable or enable access to phone and texting features for guest users.

Top-level multi-user toggles in Android 14 include the ability to “allow guest to use phone,” “share call history with guest user,” and “make clear which privacy implications are attached to it.” Adding a new guest mode is similar to what we have now, and features like Delete Guest, alongside other toggles, will now be available in the top-level multi-user menu.
