According to a Reddit user, Sony is planning to release up to six smartphones in 2023. They will all be powered by Snapdragon chipsets with 6GB/8GB Ram and 128GB/240GB Storage On-board.

Sony has 6 Xperia phones planned for 2023. These devices’ model numbers are PM-142x-BV, PM-143x-BV, PM-144x-BV, PM-145x-BV, PM-146x-BV, and PM-147x-BV. Among them, three smartphones will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, two will use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, and one will use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.

According to some deductive reasoning, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphones are most likely the Sony Xperia 1 V, Sony Xperia 5 V, and maybe a Sony Xperia PRO-II phone. This would leave the Sony Xperia 10 V as the only handset with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor has previously been linked to a prospective tiny smartphone in the shape of the Sony Xperia Ace IV, which is expected to be released globally. There is a likelihood that the Ace IV model will be exclusive to the Japanese domestic market and will be slightly different for the international market. The six model numbers appear to range from PM-142x-BV to PM-147x-BV.
