New Snap Layout

With Windows 11 we have Snap layout functionality. Now it is going to receive a new treatment which makes it more convenient to use Snap Layout and easier to find out apps. This includes decreasing the hover time for invoking the flyout when you hover over the maximize/restore button in the app. There is also some improvement with adding a descriptive title. The title also says “Snap this window”.

Live Caption to More languages

Now the live caption is available with more languages with the build, which include French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Dutch. Whereas the first version of the Live Caption was only available with English focusing on English (United States) but it picked up more languages like Chinese, Japanese, and other English dialects.

If you want to use the Live Caption on Windows, you can press the Win+ Ctrl + L or you can enable this from the Quick Settings accessibility flyout via Quick Settings. If you don’t have the required speech, you can download it by navigating to the Windows Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region. As there isn’t all language supported yet and to change the preferred other language, it could be a better alternative.

Voice Typing

Changes to async Voice typing settings, Automatic Punctuation and Voice Typing launcher will allow to sync with all signed in devices with the same Microsoft account. However this is enabled by default but if you want to disable this, you can toggle the settings by heading over to Windows Settings from there go to Account there you have the Windows Backup and under Remember my Preferences you have accessibility from there you can toggle the settings for it. Currently, it’s only working with the Microsoft Account with AAD Support.

Apart from this, there are some bug fixes which also include the fix for a rendering bug related to WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment) and more which you can read here over Windows Insider Blog.
