Microsoft has started rolling out Windows 11 Build 23424 to the Developer channel of the Windows Insider Program. This minor update brings some major fixes, improvements, and features ahead of the stable release.
Evolved Widget Board
This recently came with a recent update to the Windows Canary update and is now making its way to the Developer channel. The Widget panel now has three columns for the supported device, which features and allows for more services and app widgets. However, this feature is only available to selected insiders and will likely expand to other users with future updates.
Content Adaptive Brightness Control
CABC on plugged-in devices is now arriving, where Windows will auto-adjust the brightness by dimming or brightening the required area of the display or monitor based on the content being played. This also helps you reduce power consumption with visual experience to save battery life. You can tweak or enable this feature by navigating to the Windows Settings > Display. From there, you have the option to enable the CABC from the drop-down menu from the Brightness & Colour options with these three options: Off, Always, On Battery Only.
This will be available on supported devices like 2-in-1 laptops and desktops, and you will see a major jump in your battery performance. This feature will be disabled by default. This feature might not be noticeable and should reduce energy consumption.
Get Updates Faster
There is a new toggle in the Windows Update settings, “Getting the latest updates as soon as they are available,” which enables Dev insiders to allow the Windows Update to show a Windows Configuration update to ensure that your device is properly connected with the backend service before the rollout to the Beta Channels. However, this isn’t something new that most Windows Insiders don’t know.
Microsoft Store
This update was recently spotted on the Canary build and is now coming to Developer insiders. It has a new Expanded Card Experience in the Microsoft Store. You will find a new in-app rating dialog UX and a redesigned Microsoft Store purchasing experience.
Apart from this, this update also improves the performance of the mouse when using a high polling rate while gaming. Even Search will now have a Performance search, and new settings have been added to the Windows Settings. You now have Surface Dial added, which is now updated to match the Windows 11 Design principle. How to Create a Bootable Windows Insider Preview-Windows 11 Drive
- After downloading the Windows 11 ISO, navigate to the download folder.
- Once connected to a PC, conduct a FAT32 format on your Pendrive (DOS 11 Bootable Pendrive)
- Pick Extract from the right-click menu on the Windows 11 ISO file, and then select the USB Flash Drive.
- Once the extraction process is complete, you may perform a Windows upgrade.

How to Install Windows 11 on your Computer
- After shutting down your computer, perform a boot-up.
