How to Remove a Windows 10 Driver

  • First thing first, Create a Windows 10 USB bootable Media drive.
  • Next, Boot your system to kick bootable media drive.
  • Once it start booting the Windows Setup, Click on Next, and then click on the Repair your computer appear on the bottom-left corner of the display.
  • After that, Click on Troubleshoot and then choose Command Prompt.
  • Your system will now opens the command prompt, Now simply, Enter the drive name where your Windows is installed eg. C:\ and then to verify your selected drive enter dir.
  • Note: If you enter into the incorrect drive, then enter the drive again and verify to cofnirm.
  • After that, enter this command: dism /image:c:\ /get-drivers (Replace C with your Windows 10 installed drive.)
  • On the screen, it will show the Publisher name, alongside installed drive, even categorized as last driver you have installed.
  • To get the more details about the installed driver, enter this command: dism /image:c:\ /get-driverinfo /driver:oem1.inf (Repalce C with your OS installed drive.)
  • After that, enter the command to unistalled the program: dism /image:c:\ /remove-driver /driver:oem1.inf
  • Once it finish, Simply Click X on your keyboard and then continue with rebooting your system.
