The Vivo Y02 is Vivo’s new entry-level phone. This is the successor to the Vivo Y01, which was released earlier this year. In comparison to the Vivo Y02s, the Y02 is positioned lower.

Specifications and features of the Vivo Y02

This Vivo Y02 smartphone comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the phone. On the phone’s back, a round-shaped camera module and an LED flash are located on the camera island.

According to the official listing, the Vivo Y02 is powered by an octa-core processor. Apparently, the Helio P22 chip from 2018 is powering it, according to leaks from the past few days.

The SoC is paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device has a microSD card slot for additional storage. MicroUSB 2.0 is used to charge the 5,000mAh battery. Android 12 (Go edition) runs on the entry-level phone. Additionally, it comes with dual SIMs, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is no fingerprint scanner on it. Approximately 186 grams is the weight of the device, which measures 163.99 x 75.63 x 8.49mm.

By comparison, the Vivo Y02s has a Helio P35 chipset and a USB-C port for charging. Furthermore, it offers up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage. Both smartphones have identical specs.

Price and availability of the Vivo Y02

Vivo Y02 costs IDR 1,499,000 ($95). Colors include Orchid Blue and Cosmic Grey. There is an expectation that the device will be released in other Asian markets soon.
