In the Nigerian market, Tecno has launched a new mid-range smartphone dubbed the Tecno Camon 17 Pro. Tecno Camon 17 phone is a slightly more expensive version of the device launched last month. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro boasts a 6.8” FHD+ display alongside a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits.

One of the main highlights is its 48MP selfie camera that is housed at the center of the phone’s hole-punch cutout. There’s an elongated camera module along the back of the phone which houses a quad-camera system including a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, as well as two 2 megapixel auxiliary cameras.
The Tecno Camon 17 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with a 25W fast-charging feature out of the box. It’s running the custom HiOS.
The device is priced at NGN125,000 (US$329) in the Nigerian market and can be purchased in California dream silver and Malibu blue colorways.
