Samsung is releasing its latest security update package for Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy A32. The May 2023 update is available for both LTE and 5G variants and includes the security patch. The update is currently available in Europe and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks as it is gradually rolling out. Improved SOS: This will allow users to make it easier to call for help in an emergency. With a press and hold of the power button for three seconds, the Emergency SOS functionality will activate without having to enter a PIN or pattern.

The May 2023 Update also optimizes the stability of the smartphone to make it more secure. The Security update means that it is less likely to crash or be hacked. For the Galaxy A32 in Europe, it has One UI build A325NKSU3DWE3 and is available in Luxembourg.

The May 2023 Security Update addresses the number of fixes for security vulnerabilities, including some that could allow attackers to take control of their devices. The April 2023 security patch fixes over 60 security flaws found in smartphones and tablets. This security patch fixes over 5 dozen flaws, including 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderated levels of common vulnerability exposure. There are also 21 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items and more than 58 Common Vulnerability Exposure by Google.

Check and Install Software Update on Galaxy A32: You

can download the latest update for your Galaxy A32 by going to Device Settings > Software Update and then downloading and installing it. Make sure you install it if you haven’t already.

  • Download Odin and firmware for your device, and extract them on your computer to the same folder location as Odin.
  •  Launch Odin, power off your phone, and reboot it in Download Mode by holding down the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time while connecting it to your computer via a USB cable.
  •  Wait until you see the blue sign in Odin to confirm that your device is connected successfully.
  •  In Odin, click the AP button and select the firmware file. If your device has a bootloader, you will also need to select the BL and CP firmware files. Add the firmware files to their designated slots (AP in AP, BL in BL, CP in CP, HOME_CSC in CSC). Only tick F. Reset Time and Auto-Reboot options.
  •  Click the Start button to begin flashing the firmware update, and wait for the process to complete.
  •  Once the flashing process is complete, your phone will automatically reboot.
