In China, Samsung Galaxy A54 5G will likely debut soon. China’s 3C certification database confirms a few details about the device. It is also possible that it will be launched in the Chinese market soon, based on the listing.
3C has listed the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G with model number SM-A5460. It seems to be a 5G-enabled device. In addition, 25W fast charging may be supported by the device. A charger is not included in the retail box of the Galaxy A53. Therefore, the A54 may not come with an in-box charger.
Three months after first appearing in 3C’s database, the predecessor Galaxy A5x-series phones were released. In January 2021, the A52 appeared in 3C and went official in March. A53 appeared in 3C in January 2022 and debuted in March. After receiving 3C certification in November, the Galaxy A54 5G may become official as early as January 2023.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G specifications
As of yet, there is no concrete information on the specifications of the Galaxy A54 5G. It is expected to have a 5,100mAh battery, which is 100mAh bigger than its predecessor.
A 50-megapixel camera will be the highlight of the Galaxy A54 5G’s triple camera unit. An ultra-wide-angle 5-megapixel camera and a macro 5-megapixel camera are likely to be included. A depth sensor is unlikely to be included. Also, OS upgrades may be available for up to four years on the A54 5G. It comes with Android 13 OS out of the box.
