The Chinese manufacturer dropped a new teaser on its Weibo microblog which confirms the launch of an Inverse Scale color variant of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone in the coming months.

While the teaser doesn’t specifically mention this variant, it does seem to hint that the phone might be available in both Red and Black colorways on the back panel.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition Specifications

Featuring a 6.67″ AMOLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is capable of displaying anything you desire.

There are three cameras on the back of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, led by a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. In addition to this, there will be a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calling.

It will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In addition to its massive battery, the handset is expected to come with a 67W fast charger that’s capable of delivering a full charge from zero to 100% within just 42 minutes, according to reports.
