In December, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 12C in China. Recently, it was spotted on the certification websites of BIS and NBTC. The device has now been benchmarked on Geekbench. A model number of 22120RN86G is listed for it. Benchmarking databases reveal the device’s key specifications.

The Redmi 12C’s ARM MT6769V/CZ CPU model number is listed in the Geekbench database. It has two 2GHz cores and two 1.80GHz cores, totaling six cores. The MediaTek Helio G85 SoC is matched by the chipset. The Redmi 12C will have 4GB of RAM, according to the listing, but additional models will likely be available at launch. The gadget will come pre-installed with Android 12 OS.

Redmi 12C Global Variant Spotted On Geekbench

In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core testing, the Redmi 12C receives scores of 355 and 1,173 respectively. The listing does not provide any further information on the gadget save this. The new product is expected to debut in India this month before MWC 2023, according to prior reports.

Redmi 12C in China features a 6.71-inch display with an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. Dual rear cameras feature a main 50MP sensor and a depth sensor of 0.8MP. The device has a fingerprint scanner positioned on the back and a 5MP front-facing selfie camera. An Helio G85 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage powers the smartphone. A 5,000mAh battery cell that supports 10W charging powers the Redmi 12C.
