The RedMagic 8 Pro series, including Pro and Pro+ variants, was launched last month in China by Nubia. The brand has now released the Red Magic 8 Pro smartphone in global markets. Nubia also unveiled a new logo that expresses the brand’s ultimate goal of becoming much more than just a gaming smartphone, but the right gear for every age and lifestyle along with the launch of the smartphone.

The Red Magic 8 Pro’s display features a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution, 1,300 nits of brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a fingerprint scanner with an ultra-thin screen that is of the seventh generation and a heart-rate detection capability. A second-generation 16MP under-display camera is also available. A 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens are all present on the smartphone.
The Red Magic 8 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is located within. It has an ICE 11 cooling system, which consists of composite graphene under the screen, a heat-dissipating plate for the vapour chamber, an air aluminium box, a turbofan, high-conducting gel, and copper coils. The computer has 512GB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. This device has powered by a 6,000mAh battery that can handle 65W of charging.
The smartphone comes pre-installed with Red Magic 6-based Android 13. The Red Magic 8 Pro has an X-Axis Linear Motor, 3 Mics, and Dual Speakers. The gadget has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm socket for connectivity.
Price of RedMagic 8 Pro
There is a 12GB + 256GB configuration available for the Red Magic 8 Pro Matte. This device has priced at $649 (~RMB 4,369). There is a 16GB + 512GB version of Void available for $799 (~RMB 5,379). There will be limited availability in select countries across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America.
