However, this announcement did not occur. According to 91mobiles, the POCO C50 is now expected to be unveiled in India on January 3rd.

The specific specifications of the POCO C50 are not mentioned in the report. However, according to previous reports, the POCO C50 headed to India has a model number of 220733SPI and has been added to the list of Google Play supported devices. Some speculate that the C50 may be a rebadged Redmi A1+ based on these listings. It is expected that POCO India will confirm the launch date for the POCO C50 in the coming days.

The POCO C50 is expected to feature an IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and dual 8-megapixel rear cameras. It is also possible that the phone will come preloaded with Android 12.
