OPPO has launched the A78 5G in India. In addition to 5G support, this midrange phone from the brand features a 90Hz display, Dimensity 700, a dual-camera setup with 50 megapixels, and a large battery.

Specification of OPPO A78 5G

It features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch. The display has a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. A fingerprint scanner on the side provides security. It supports 96 percent NTSC color gamut and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of specifications, It features a Dimensity 700 chipset, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Virtual memory ranges from 8GB to 16GB.

A78 5G features a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging. According to the company, a full charge may be completed in 67 minutes. It comes with the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 operating system.

The A78 5G comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It contains a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash on the rear. Panda Glass display protection, a multi-cooling system for heat management, face unlock, dual stereo speakers, dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C connection, and a 3.5mm audio jack are among the other features of the A78 5G.

Price of OPPO A78 5G

OPPO has launched the A78 5G with a price tag of Rs 18,999 (~$233). OPPO India’s website and Amazon India are now accepting pre-orders for the device. The device will go on sale in the country on Jan. 18. It is available in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue colors.
