Genshin Impact is scheduled to receive its next major update, which is going to introduce Hydro Sword, Ayato, and discord to the new area in the game known as Chasm. The upcoming version of the game is to be called “Zephyr of the Violet Garden.”
Genshin Impact V2.6 Update Release Date:
It is scheduled to rollout on March 30 and will go on maintenance from 6 PM to 11 PM EST. As always, during the maintenance time, players won’t be able to play the game. To compensate, players will receive 300 Primogems (which will be available to claim for up to 30 days).
New Character
- Kamisato Ayato: Five-Star Character. It will be available to play during the first half of this update. In this intro, he is the head of the Kamisato clan and he is a hydro sword user.
- Shinkanoin Heizou: It’s not confirmed, but it will be a 4-Start character, but HoYoverse doesn’t confirm it at this moment.
- Venti is a fan-favourite character that will be available to play in the second half of the update.
As for the quest, the new area, Chasm, contains dark elements, hidden secreats, and more to cause discord along the storey quest. Reportedly, Chasm is quite similar to Enkanomiya, with an entrance near the Lisa area. In this quest, you will read the storey of the Traveler Twin and Khaenri’a.
The second half of the game is to be kicked off on April 20 and 22. Where Heron’s courts will be unlocked for play.
