- Open Xbox Settings (From the Dashboard, you have access to Settings from the profile icon by pressing the guide menu on the console.
- Head over to Online Safety & Family from General Option, which appears on the left sidebar.
- Next, select Privacy & Online Safety and then choose Xbox Live Privacy.
- After that, select Communication & Multiplayers from the View Details & Customize option from the left-sidebar.
- Check for the “You can play with people outside Xbox Live” option, and choose Block/Allow accordingly.
- That’s it!
Note: New settings will be applied when you start a new game, or when you restart your game after saving the settings.
