Here’s how to factory reset your Google Pixel 7 series

In order to follow these instructions, we used a Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro running Android 13. Your Pixel device may have a different Factory Reset option if you’re running an older version of Android. If you cannot find Factory Reset in your Settings, search for it in the search bar.

  1. Go to the Settings app.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap System.
  3. Scroll down the System menu and select Reset.
  4. To erase all data (factory reset), tap the Erase all data button. Perform the other reset options before a factory reset if you’re troubleshooting your phone.
  5. In the lower-right corner of your screen, tap Erase all data. You can see the accounts you are logged into on this screen. Make sure you have saved the login details for each.
  6. Your phone’s PIN, pattern, or password must be entered.
  7. Start the factory reset by tapping Erase all data in the lower-right corner of your screen.

It may take several minutes for the factory reset to complete. After the factory reset is complete, your phone will restart and display its original setup screen.
