The Honor 80 series of smartphones, including the Honor 80 SE, the Honor 80, and the Honor 80 Pro, were recently launched in China. There is speculation that the company will launch a new Honor 80 GT phone as part of the Honor 80 series. In December, the Honor 80 GT is expected to become official (According to Leaks via. TechGoing). It will have a flat display, which may be OLED.

A Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor will power the Honor 80 Pro. The Honor 80 Pro is powered by the same chip. In order to provide more screen space for gamers, the 80 GT may not feature a pill-shaped dual selfie camera cutout on the display. There is no information on the device’s other specifications.

Specification of Honor 80 Pro

It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a high-frequency PWM dimming of 1920Hz, a max brightness of 1000 nits, and support for HDR. The pill-shaped notch on the screen houses a 50MP AI portrait camera with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear panel has a 160MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.  

The Honor 80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which has been underclocked slightly. Up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage are combined in the processor. Magic OS 7.0 runs on Android 12. It has 66W fast wired charging is supported by the phone’s 4,800mAh battery
