Honor upcoming smartphone, the Honor 50 Series, announced to launch this June. At the same time, the series include Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro. The device seems quite promising so let’s take a closer look at it and know more about it.


The event is scheduled to launch at Qualcomm China Tech day 2021 summit, where the device is to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Soc.

Display and Design

The device has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ OLED display panel featuring a 90Hz of screen refresh rate. However, the Honor 50 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED Display panel featuring a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It was having a punch-hole camera cutout, narrow bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.


According to the report, the device will have a Triple rear camera

module packed with a 50MP primary camera sensor alongside two other camera module. However, Honor 50 equipped with a 50MP selfie shooter, while 50 Pro with a 32MP primary and 8MP Selfie shooter.


Under the hood, the device was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with an 8GB fo Ram and 128GB of onboard storage. The device is running on Android 11, and to power the device, it equipped with a 4200mAh/ 4400mAh battery using a 100W fast charging support bundled in the box, respectively. As for connectivity, the device does support an USB Type-C, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.

Price and availability

There are no details about the pricing of the device available at this moment. However, some suggested it could be priced ~Rs. 30,000.
