Google has started rolling out their latest version of Google Camera to Pixel devices, Gam 8.6, with Material UI elements. Google Pixel 6 and P Pro begin receiving the update, and a significant update comes within the rear camera has the functionality to enable “Speech enhancement.”
This feature was initially available for selfie-camera, where it reduces the noise from the background (Like, Wind, Traffic, and Crow.) Now it comes to rear camera, it support FHD (1080p) @ 30fps video-recording.
What’s New with the Google Camera 8.6
- Visual Changes to buttons for Panorama, Photo Sphere, and Lense; they are now rounded rectangular with dynamic colour.
- Material You elements added.
Apart from these shuttle changes, there isn’t any other change.

If you own the Google Pixel Device, you can update Google Camera from Google Play Store. The update is available globally. To run Gcam 8.6, Your device should be running Android 13 as of now. It might be possible for google to limit the access to their latest Gcam. However, you can expect updates to other Pixel Devices in future.
