Gionee has unveiled the Gionee M15, a new mid-range smartphone that will first be available in Nigeria. The device will compete against other models within the same segment, including the recently announced Infinix Note 10 Pro.

Gionee M15 is equipped with a 6.67″ LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The device features a central hole-punch cutout that encases a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Around the back of the phone, a rectangular camera island houses a quad-camera system, including a 48 megapixels main camera, a 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, a 2 megapixels macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Its lights are kept on by a massive 5,100mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. Besides that, the device also sports a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.


Gionee M15’s 8GB+128GB variant is priced at N106,200 (US$259) in Nigeria.
